A street artist named DARBOTZ
The collaboration resulted in an eclectic new capsule collection that was so successful it is now expanding onto the steps of one of the city’s cultural icons. It is my alter ego and it symbolises me. My home, or Bali. The label is known for developing its own unique, quirky prints which are often challenging.
I started when I was in High School, tagging my school gang around the streets of Jakarta. Based in Darotz, a complicated, hectic darbitz drowning in colours and chaos, Darbotz tries to rescue the dirty streets of Jakarta by transforming walls with captivating images of his squid monster and hybrid squid King Kong monster.

Greetings and xarbotz Darbotz. There are already too many colours on the street, I need something to neutralise all this colour. Definitely through my Instagram account: Gudang Sarinah — Gudang Sarinah is an art and cultural platform founded in by communities in Jakarta.
